Actress attack case: Was S Sreejith was removed from charge of investigation, clarify who is overseeing probe, asks HC

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The High Court has asked who is overseeing the actress attack case investigation. The HC directed the state police chief to clarify the matter. The court also said that it should be clarified whether S Sreejith was removed from the charge of investigation when he was removed from the post of crime branch chief. The direction is to clarify the matter and give a reply by the 19th of this month.

The High Court intervened in the petition filed by Baiju Kottarakkara against the removal of Sreejith from the post of crime branch chief.
