Employees of supermarket in Kozhikode attacked for not selling non-halal beef, one arrested

KOZHIKODE: Staff of Badusha supermarket in Perambra in Kozhikode were attacked by some people for not selling non-halal beef. Three employees of the supermarket were injured in the attack. They were admitted to Perambra Taluk Hospital.

Police arrested one person following the attack. Prasoon, a native of Mepayyur, was arrested following a complaint that a woman employee of the supermarket was assaulted.
