Forgive my daughter, people who pained you today will praise you one day

Mathew T Thomas MLA came forward responding on the incident of Samastha leader insulting a Muslim girl who was invited to the dais for receiving a reward for her education excellence. He shared a note via Facebook.

He said let gender equality and equality be there, asked whether religion will protect the guilt that pained the child's mind. He said in the note that there will be a day when the girl will grow up smartly without being discouraged and those who pained her today will praise her one day.

A video of Samastha leader M T Abdulla Musliyar scolding the people standing next to him for inviting the girl student to the dais had gone viral on social media. He conveyed the message to the organisers that girl should not be invited to the dais.
