LDF candidate Dr Jo Joseph arrives at NSS headquarters in Perunna, seeks Nair’s blessings and support

KOTTAYAM: LDF candidate for Thrikkakara bypoll Dr Jo Joseph arrived at the NSS headquarters in Perunna. He held talks with NSS general secretary G Sukumaran Nair.

After the meeting Jo Joseph said that all communities are with them. He said he had sought the blessings and support of Nair. However, he refused to divulge the political stance in connection with the visit. The party has to clarify about it, he said.

Going forward with a lot of confidence. Jo Joseph said there is excitement among the workers and the people and Thrikkakara will be with the Left. He added that the people want an MLA from the ruling party.

UDF candidate Uma Thomas from Thrikkakara had also visited the NSS office in Perunna earlier. After meeting Nair, Uma Thomas said that he is father figure for her. Uma Thomas had said that Nair had a personal relationship with P T Thomas and came to seek the blessings of NSS leadership.
