Couple found dead in house, murder suspected

KOTTAYAM: A couple was found dead in their house in Ayarkunnam. Sudheesh (40) and his wife Tintu (34) were found dead at their house. Sudheesh was found hanging and Tintu was found lying dead under the cot. Initial reports of the police said that Sudheesh may have ended his life after murdering her.

When Sudheesh’s mother came home to meet him found him hanging. She came home when he failed to attend her call. There was no response even after ringing the calling bell. She immediately called the neighbours. They saw him hanging when they looked inside after breaking the window panes. They also saw Tintu lying dead under the cot.

There were injuries on his wrist. He may have suffocated her to death using a pillow.
