Modi is very sensitive; interrupted important meeting to feed peacock, praises Amit Shah

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is very sensitive, said Union Home Minister Amit Shah at the book launch of prime minister’s political journey titled ‘Modi@20: Dreams Meet Delivery’. The event took place in Delhi the other day. Amit Shah also shared an interesting anecdote revealing Modi’s personality.

The home minister shared an experience of Modi making sure that his peacock got food. During an important meeting, Modi noticed that a peacock was tapping the glass with its beak. He soon realized that the bird was hungry and asked his staff to feed it, revealed Amit Shah. “To think about a peacock while engaged in such a serious meeting shows how sensitive he is’, Shah said.

At the event, Amit Shah praised Modi calling him an efficient leader. “Despite his lack of experience, Modi was made the chief minister of an earthquake-prone state which he ran efficiently and won several re-elections”, Amit Shah said.
