Congress expels KV Thomas, action taken with AICC approval; Can't wait any longer, says K Sudhakaran

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Senior Congress leader KV Thomas has been expelled from the party. KPCC President K Sudhakaran made the announcement. Sudhakaran said that they could not wait any longer and the action was taken with the permission of the AICC. He also clarified that they had informed KVThomas about the decision.

KV Thomas had earlier participated in the LDF election convention held as part of the Thrikkakara by-election today. Following this, K Sudhakaran had announced the expulsion decision. Earlier, disciplinary action was taken against KV Thomas for attending a seminar at the CPM party congress. He was excluded from party committees as well.
