Joe Joseph is candidate of church, so am I: CM Vijayan

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan responded to the criticism that the LDF candidate in the Thrikkakara by-election, Dr. Joe Joseph, is a representative of the church in a lighter tone. "Joe Joseph is the church's (sabha) candidate, and so am I. But only that I am Assembly's (niyamasabha) candidate" the CM scoffed. He was speaking after inaugurating the election convention of the Left Front in Thrikkakara.

Pinarayi Vijayan said that Congress has become the B team of the Sangh Parivar. The Chief Minister also criticized the Congress party for supporting the Sangh Parivar who are carrying out widespread attacks on Christians in the country. Pinarayi Vijayan also said that the Thrikkakkara mistake should be corrected. "Thrikkakara has got a golden opportunity. The constituency is ready to respond as Kerala wants. Its concern can be seen in the UDF centres", he said.
