Two cops found dead in Palakkad, bodies found in field behind police camp

PALAKKAD: Two policemen were found dead at Muttikulangara in the district. The two have been identified as Ashokan and Mohandas of the police camp in Muttikulangara. They were found lying in the field behind the police camp. The reason for the death is not known.

It is said that one cop was on duty and the other on leave. The two were reported missing from last night. Meantime, there is no clarity on what happened actually. The police have not divulged any information regarding it. The police and the forensic have reached the spot and are inspecting.
