Former panchayat member forced off bus for displaying nudity, hurls stones in rage, gets arrested

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Aryanad police arrested Manikuttan, a former member of Vellanadu panchayath, for displaying nudity under the influence of liquor inside a KSRTC bus. He was taken off the bus for making a fuss by removing his dhoti. The action was taken following the complaint of the passengers.

He then got on a bike and followed the bus and threw stones. Conductor Anoop was injured after stones hit him. He was admitted to Vellanadu Hospital. Some of the passengers sustained minor injuries. The atrocity took place in front of the Vellanadu village office. Manikutta is a Congress activist.
