Samantha and Vijay Deverakonda injured as their car falls into river, accident during stunt scene

Film stars Samantha and Vijay Deverakonda met with an accident while shooting for their new movie. The car, in which the duo was travelling, fell into a river while shooting a stunt scene.

The accident took place amid the shooting of the movie ‘Kushi’. The news was revealed by the film’s crew. The actors were soon given first aid. The car fell into Lidder river near Pahalgam. The shooting took place under tight security, said the film’s crew.

Samantha and Vijay were shooting a tough scene in which both the actors had to run a vehicle over the rope tied on both sides of the Lidder river, but unfortunately, the vehicle fell down into the deep water and both injured their backs, said a crew member. They are undergoing treatment.

‘Kushi’, starring Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha, is directed by Shiva Nirvana. The film, produced in four languages namely Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam, will hit theatres on December 23.
