22-year-old found hanging in husband’s house in Malappuram

MALAPPURAM: A 22-year-old woman was found hanging in the bedroom of her husband’s house in Malappuram. She has been identified as Nusrat, wife of Irshad of Thachinganadom Areechola Poovathi House. She was found hanging in the hook of the cradle in the bedroom. The incident happened last afternoon. The door was locked from inside. As she was not seen out for a long time, the inmates opened the window and found her hanging.

Nusrat got married four years back. She also has a three-year-old daughter. Irshad, a mobile technician, left for Oman two months ago in search of work. Nusrat is the daughter of Hamza and Laila of Poonthanam. The Melattur police have registered a case of unnatural death in the incident. The body will be handed over to her relatives after the post mortem at Manjeri Government Medical College.
