Obscene video spreading against Jo Joseph, UDF is afraid of defeat, alleges CPM

KOCHI: The CPM has complained that the UDF is spreading obscene videos against LDF candidate Jo Joseph in the Thrikkakara by-election. CPM state secretariat members P Rajeev and M Swaraj said in the press conference that this move by the Congress was due to fear of defeat.

The two also accused that the video is being shared from the profiles of Congress leaders. This is not fair, they are doing this because of the fear of failure. A complaint had been lodged with the police and the Election Commission. P Rajeev demanded that those within the UDF should react against this. Swaraj blamed that Congress is feeding cyber criminals.

After the complaint was lodged, there were instructions in the Congress groups not to share the video. Swaraj said such an incident would not have happened without the knowledge of the Congress leadership.
