Couple dies in bus-scooter collision in Thrissur

THRISSUR: A couple died after a KSRTC bus hit their scooter at Moonupeedika in the district. The dead have been identified as Ashraf (58) of Sreenarayanapuram Pallinada and his wife Thahira (52). The accident happened at 10.30 am this morning at Perinjanam.

Thought the two were immediately rushed to a private hospital in Kodungalloor, their lives could not be saved. The incident happened when the two were going to attend the funeral rites of their relative. Ashraf was the owner of a firm FTF Door in Mathilakam Mathilmoola.
