Cancellation of bail is not legal, Magistrate Court order should be quashed, PC George re-appeals in High Court

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: PC George has again filed a plea in the High Court seeking cancellation of the Magistrate Court's order which quashed his bail. He filed a new plea as the High Court was about to consider his bail application tomorrow. The petitioner states that the order of the Magistrate Court revoking the bail was not legal.

PC George was arrested and remanded in hate speech cases at Ananthapuri Hindu Mahasammelanam and Vennala. George is currently lodged in Poojappura Central Jail due to security and health issues. He was transferred from the District Jail to the Central Jail.
