Conflict between film workers in Palakkad lodge; one stabbed in neck

PALAKKAD: A person was stabbed in a scuffle that broke out between film workers at a lodge in Palakkad. The victim has been identified as Shijab, a native of Vadakara. He has been shifted to Thrissur Medical College. Shijab told the police that he was stabbed by his colleague Uthaman.

The Palakkad South police have taken the accused into custody. However, Uthaman argued that he was innocent and Shijab had done it himself. The incident took place in Palakkad city lodge while the duo was drinking.
