They’re searching for PM’s degree under Taj Mahal’, Owaisi mocks BJP

NEW DELHI: All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi mocked the plea filed by a BJP leader in Allahabad High Court to find the truth behind the 22 locked rooms in Taj Mahal. The plea claimed that the monument was actually an old Shiva Temple. In an address in Maharashtra’s Bhiwandi, Owaisi said, “They are searching for PM's degree under the Taj Mahal.”

The plea was filed by a local BJP leader. The court which rejected the plea said that it was the historians who should examine the matter. Owaisi also responded to the BJP’s allegations against the Mughal dynasty. "India is neither mine, nor Thackeray's, nor Modi-Shah's. If India belongs to anyone, it's Dravidians and Adivasis. BJP-RSS are only after the Mughals. But actually, India was formed after people migrated from Africa, Iran, Central Asia, East Asia," he said.
