Food poisoning yet again; Five persons undergoing treatment in Thrissur 

THRISSUR: Another incident of suspected food poisoning has been reported in the state. Five persons, who ate at the Al Madina restaurant in Thrissur, have been admitted to the hospital after suffering health problems. All five are employees of a private company. They have been identified as Aneesha, Ashika, Keerthana, Reethu and Arya.

The group had eaten puri masala from the restaurant. They were later admitted to the hospital after they developed abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting. Following the incident, the restaurant was shut down by food safety officials. Food samples collected from the restaurant have been sent for testing.
