Has not told the government to lay survey stones; permission not granted for Silverline repeats Centre in High Court

KOCHI: The Central government has repeated in the High Court that they have not given permission for the Silverline project. Permission was granted only for the first phase of the project. The DPR submitted by K Rail is incomplete. The technical details of the project were not included in the DPR. The Central Government informed the High Court that they have asked to hand over these.

The Centre was responding to various petitions against the Silverline survey. The Centre has stated that they have not given permission for the Silverline social impact study and has not asked the government to place survey stones. They also informed the court that the Union Finance Ministry has not given financial approval for the Silverline project.
