CM and party secretary have said everything, says Riyas; Left Front seeks probe on Swapna’s allegations

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister Mohammad Riyas said that he has nothing more to say on the allegations levelled by Swapna Suresh, accused in the gold smuggling case. The chief minister and the party secretary have said everything that has to be said, he said.

‘The chief minister and the party secretary had responded on the issue. What more is there to respond to. Such allegations are not the first in Kerala,’ said Riyas. The Left front has sought an investigation.

LDF convenor E P Jayarajan said there is a planned conspiracy behind the allegations of Swapna. What is happening is mafia activity. P C George is not the lone person behind the allegation, RSS is also there. There is an attempt to stain the popularity of the chief minister.

The RSS received Swapna Suresh when she was released from jail and gave her a job. So there is no need to say who is behind this? Who will believe that gold was smuggled in a copper pot, asked Jayarajan.
