Hints of vigilance taking Sarith into custody in white car, why notice was not issued, asks Swapna

PALAKKAD: There are hints that Sarith, accused in the gold smuggling case, was taken by vigilance. The vigilance unit in Palakkad took him into custody from Swapna’s flat. It is believed that he was taken for recording his statement in the life mission case.

Swapna asked why a notice was not given even if it was vigilance. Meantime, the vigilance said that he was taken into custody after issuing a notice. However, no notice was issued and if it was in the life mission case, then the vigilance should have first taken Sivasankar, she said.
