‘Starting a new chapter officially in presence of family and friends;’ Shah Rukh Khan among 30 celebrities attending marriage

The marriage of South Indian actress Nayanthara and Tamil director and producer Vignesh Shivan has started. The function is held at the Sheraton Four Points Resort in Mahabalipuram, Chennai, according to Hindu rituals.

Security has been beefed up at Mahabalipuram in connection with the wedding. The resort was taken for the wedding a week ago. Only close relatives and friends are attending the function. About 30 celebrities including Shah Rukh Khan from the Indian film industry are likely to attend the wedding.

A team led by director Gautham Menon is filming the function for Netflix, a leading OTT platform. It will be shot in documentary mode and then streamed through OTT.

Vignesh shared pictures with Nayanthara on Instagram saying that starting a new chapter officially in the presence of family and close friends. The two fell in love on the sets of the movie Naanum Rowdy Dhaan. The star couple are getting married after dating for seven years.
