It is the individual's freedom to choose which mask to wear, lawyer to approach High court against removing black mask

kk

KOCHI: A lawyer is likely to approach the High Court in an incident where he was told to remove black mask. Advocate Sethukumar lodged a complaint to the DGP. As per his complaint, he was stopped by the police in Kottayam and was asked to remove the black mask.

It is unlawful to remove black mask for the sake of security. It is the individual's choice. Sethukumar said that denying this is a violation of fundamental rights.

Police also asked the public to remove black mask in Malappuram for security reasons. In Thavanur, police officers barred people wearing black masks from attending the CM's function. Instead, the police gave them yellow masks.
