Pakistan moves ahead of India in ICC rankings, achievement after best performance in West Indies series

NEW DELHI: Pakistan has surpassed India in the ICC ODI rankings. As per the latest rankings released today, Pakistan ranks fourth and India is fifth. Earlier India was No. 4 and Pakistan was No 5.

Pakistan's best performance in the ODI series against the West Indies has helped them climb to the fourth spot. India has not played any ODIs in recent times. Pakistan had a clean sweep win 3-0 over West Indies. At the beginning of the tournament, Pakistan was on the fifth rank behind India.

India has just one rating less than that of Pakistan with 106 ratings. New Zealand tops the list with a rating of 125. England ranks second and Australia on third. South Africa, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka are on sixth, seventh and eighth positions respectively. West Indies ranks ninth and Afghanistan ranks tenth on the list.
