No difference between Kashmiri Pandits’ genocide and lynching for cow smuggling, says Sai Pallavi

There is not much difference between the Kashmiri Pandits’ genocide and mob lynching in the name of cow smuggling, said Sai Pallavi. The actress expressed her opinion during the promotions of her upcoming release ‘Virata Parvam’.

"I grew up in a neutral environment. My family has taught me to be good person. I have heard about the left-wing and right-wing. But, I cannot say who is right and who is wrong. The film, ‘The Kashmir Files’, shows how Kashmiri Pandits were killed. Recently, there was an incident of a person being killed for carrying a cow because he was suspected to be a Muslim. After killing the person, the attackers raised ‘Jai Shri Ram slogans’. Where is the difference between what happened in Kashmir and what happened recently?", Sai Pallavi asked.

The actress’ opinion on the Kashmir killings and mob lynches have attracted mixed reactions on social media. Some have criticized her opinion saying that both issues cannot be equated and demanded the actress to withdraw her statement.
