‘Ours was marinated and cooked meat, so no problem’; Chandy Oommen’s reply to Riyas’ post

Youth Congress leader Chandy Oommen has responded to a post shared by Minister Muhammad Riyas on his wedding anniversary.’ Ours was marinated and cooked meat, so no problem,’ Oommen wrote on social media.

Taking to Facebook, the minister had earlier shared a picture with his wife Veena along with a caption that roughly translates to: “Today is our wedding anniversary… My dear, who for years has been facing with a smile the pain, of having to bite the raw flesh of a living human being, which could be created by absurd propaganda”.

As the post went viral on social media, Chandy Oommen has come up with an indirect response to it. “Ours was marinated and cooked meat, so no problem”, he wrote in a Facebook post.

Youth Congress state vice president Rijil Makkutty has also commented below Riyas’ post. “Oommen Chandy sir also had a family. You were also at the fore to eat their raw flesh”, Rijil wrote.
