Agnipath recruitment process soon, training to start in December, notification will be issued in two days

NEW DELHI: Indian Army chief General Manoj Pande said the recruitment process will begin soon and the notification on it will be issued in two days.

The training of first Agniveers will start in December 2022. Those recruited will enter service in 2023. The youths’ protests are without understanding things. If reality is identified, then will have faith in it, he said.

Agnipath Scheme of the Modi Government is an opportunity for India’s youth to join the defence forces and serve the nation.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said the Agnipath project has raised the upper age limit from 21 to 23 for those who have lost their chance to join the army due to the Covid epidemic and that many young people will benefit from the Prime Minister's decision. Amit Shah said the youths can serve the country and secure a future.

It is a golden opportunity to join the army and serve the country. Recruitment will start in a few days. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said the youths should start preparations for this.
