'He gave me Rs 20,000 not lakhs of rupees, offered Rs 1 crore to drop the case, called my sister saying that he will commit suicide', reveals the actress

The actress who lodged a sexual assault complaint against actor-producer Vijay Babu has now revealed that she was offered Rs 1 crore to drop the case. Vijay Babu offered money through a friend while he was in Dubai, revealed the actress in a interview with Mathrubhumi.

'A woman with self-respect couldn't bear when a man who physically, mentally and sexually abused her is living happily. I lodged the complaint without even informing my family. It was my decision to file a complaint. When I tried to get away from him, he threatened that I would not continue in the film industry anymore and would suffer. I wanted to challenge his pride of being able to do anything because of money and influence', revealed the actress.

'Before giving the complaint, he pleaded before me and said that he was ready for any deal. If my allegations were false, then wasn't it convenient for me to accept his offer?, she asked. 'It is alleged that I took money from him. Let him show a screenshot to prove his claim', continued the actress.

She said that she has not received any financial help from Vijay Babu. She received only Rs 20,000 for acting in his film. The actress also said to show the proof if lakhs of rupees were given to her.

'If my aim was money, then I could have extorted it using the evidence.I have a recording of him calling my sister saying that he was going to commit suicide.'

In the interview, the actress also spoke about the atrocities committed against her by Vijay Babu. 'He shouted at me, kicked in the abdomen and forced me to have sex. He made me do bad things. I once ran way from the apartment', revealed the actress.
