Swapna sends letter to PM seeking CBI probe in gold smuggling case

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Swapna Suresh has written a letter to the Prime Minister seeking a CBI probe against the state government in the gold smuggling case. The letter said Sivasankar played a key role in the case and the chief minister and his family also have a role in it.

The government is constantly harassing me, my lawyer and HRDS in the name of my secret statement. The Prime Minister should intervene immediately. Her letter has asked permission to meet the Prime Minister. Meantime, the high court will consider today the plea filed by Swapna seeking quashing of the conspiracy case. She claimed that the case was registered for giving statement against the chief minister and others in the money laundering case.
