Maoist firing in Odisha; three CRPF personnel killed, four severely injured

BHUBANESHWAR: Three jawans were killed in a Maoist attack in Odisha's Nupada district. Four jawans were severely injured. The incident happened in Bhaisadani forest in Nupada district. Crude barrel grenade launchers were used against jawans who were engaged in activities related to a road opening.

The deceased jawans are Uttar Pradesh native ASI Shishupal Singh, Haryana natives ASI Shivlal and constable Dharmendra Singh. It is reported that the jawans also fired back.
