ISLAMABAD: Pakistan's Counter-Terrorism Department(CTD) has warned of an assassination threat against former Pakistan Prime Minister and PTI president Imran Khan. According to the CTD, it was found that terrorists have sought help from an assassin in Afghanistan in this regard. However, it is learned that the assassin had handed over the responsibility to some others.
Although the CTD had received the information on June 18, it received orders to keep the threat a secret and prevent it from being leaked on social media. Earlier, PTI leaders had alleged that hired assassins had been deployed to assassinate Imran. They had claimed that a terrorist named 'Cochi' in Afghanistan had received orders to assassinate Imran Khan,
