Sandeep Warrier slams for creating fake news by taking only his photo when many senior politicians were there, terms as wantonness

PALAKKAD: BJP state spokesman Sandeep Warrier came forward responding after his picture with Shaj Kiran, friend of Swapna Suresh, surfaced. His response was through a Facebook post.

A private channel had released a picture of Sandeep Warrier and Shaj Kiran attending a party of Karnataka minister. Soon after this Sandeep came with a Facebook post.

The post said that when Rajith, a friend of Karnataka Minister V Sunil Kumar, called, went to the minister's house unexpectedly. Shaj Kiran, who introduced himself as a journalist, came with Rajith. In his post, Sandeep said that a complaint was lodged four months ago via email to ADGP vigilance mentioning Shaj Kiran as a fraudster. He also shared a screen shot of the mail sent.

'When Rajith, a friend of the minister in Kollam, invited me for the function attended by more than a thousand people at the house of Sunil Kumarji, who was also Kerala’s Sahaprabhari in addition to being the Karnataka minister, went unexpectedly. Shaj Kiran, who introduced himself as a journalist came with Rajith. The minister came near the table of those having food, talked for two minutes and then took a photo. What can I do when Rajith's friend Shaj Kiran is seen in that photo?

Releasing the screen shot of the complaint lodged by my friend Rajith four months ago to ADGP vigilance via email mentioning Shaj Kiran as a fraudster. If the police had taken action then, Shaj Kiran would have been jailed. Has not mentioned in the photo that Shaj Kiran is my friend.
