Musk's son removes father's surname, Vivian declares she is longer a man but a woman

NEW YORK: Many views of Tesla owner Elon Musk are against the transgenders. Musk declared support for the Republican Party's stance on transgender people, and backed the legislation to limit the rights of transgenders. There has been strong criticism against Musk's stance. However, Musk's son, Xavier Alexander Musk, approached the court stating that he was not a man but a woman and needed to change the name.

The court granted the request and directed the authorities to issue a new birth certificate. Xavier adopted a new name, Vivian Jenna Wilson, and replaced her father's name 'Musk' and adopted her mother's family name, Wilson. Vivian also declared publicly that she is a woman from now onwards and not a man. The Los Angeles County Superior Court announced the verdict after the hearing.

Vivian approached the court the day after her 18th birthday, demanding to change her name. The procedure was very simple as no one objected. Vivian's mother is Canadian author Justin Wilson. Musk married Vivian's mother and author, Justin Wilson in 2000. The relationship lasted until 2008 and the couple had five children. The older child died at a very young age. Vivian has a twin brother.

Elon Musk has been married thrice. Musk was married twice to actress Talulah Riley. Musk has two children with singer Grimes.
