ED and crime branch ask Swapna to appear for interrogation today; legal advice will be sought to appear before which agency

KOCHI: The ED and the Crime Branch have issued a notice to Swapna Suresh asking her to appear for interrogation on Monday (today) in the gold smuggling case. Swapna said she would decide after seeking legal advice to appear before which investigative agency. The Enforcement Directorate's (ED) interrogation comes in the wake of Swapna's new allegations. The ED had questioned Swapna for 12 hours.

The crime branch will be questioning Swapna in the conspiracy case against many including the chief minister. The crime branch had earlier issued a notice to Swapna asking her to appear today. Swapna decided to accept the lawyer's directive after both the investigation teams asked her to appear today.
