MS Dhoni seeks Ayurvedic treatment for knee pain at a mere cost of Rs 40

RANCHI: Former Indian cricket captain M S Dhoni has reportedly sought Ayurvedic treatment for his knee pain at a mere cost of Rs 40. The Ayurvedic doctor charged him Rs 20 as consultation fee and prescribed medicines worth Rs 20.

Although Dhoni had consulted many prominent doctors in past months, he could not get rid of the pain. Following which, he approached Vandan Singh Khervar, an Ayurvedic doctor, who lives in the densely forested area of Lapung, which is nearly 70 km from Ranchi. The cricketer sought treatment for a total cost of Rs 40. Earlier, Dhoni’s parents had also sought treatment from Khervar. According to the doctor, Dhoni suffers from knee pain due to calcium deficiency.
