THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Government offices in the state remained active on Sunday as well as part of the intensive campaign launched by the government to settle the files which were delayed due to the Covid crisis. 80 percent of employees were present in most of the offices. The revenue, local, health and industry departments with more pending files and the police headquarters office worked efficiently.
The secretariat reported an attendance of 75 percent. Minister MV Govindan visited the Mayyil Panchayat office in Kannur to see the functioning of the office on the holiday. In the Collectorates, the District Collectors visited the sections and evaluated the work in the offices. 34,995 files were disposed of in the local department.
