Life Mission fraud case; CBI to grill Swapna Suresh, issues notice

KOCHI: The CBI has issued a notice to Swapna Suresh in the Life Mission fraud case. The notice issued has asked her to appear on Monday for questioning. Sarith, her partner was questioned by the investigation team last week.

Meantime, the principal sessions court will consider today her plea seeking central security. She filed a plea last month demanding central security following threats from all sides.

The high court will also consider her plea today seeking cancellation of the conspiracy case. A case was taken against Swapan on the complaint of former minister K T Jaleel alleging that she gave a false statement before the magistrate after conspiring with some and circulated fake news to defame the chief minister and the government.
