Golwalkar remarks: RSS issues notice to opposition leader

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has issued a notice to opposition leader V D Satheesan over his remarks about RSS leader M S Golwalkar. The notice was issued against the opposition leader's remarks that Golwalkar's book contained the same words as said by ex-minister Saji Cherian in his controversial speech.

According to Satheesan’s statement, Golwalkar’s book ‘Bunch of Thoughts’ contains the exact same words said by Saji Cherian in his speech at Mallappally. However, the RSS notice states that no such words are mentioned in the book. The opposition leader should specify where those words are mentioned in ‘Bunch of Thoughts’. If not, then the statement should be withdrawn. Otherwise, legal action will be pursued, stated the notice.
