Roji M John appointed as AICC Secretary in-charge of Karnataka

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Congress President Sonia Gandhi has appointed Angamaly MLA Roji M John as AICC secretary. He is given the charge of Karnataka. Sonia has directed the new members to coordinate activities ahead of the Karnataka assembly elections.

Meanwhile, D K Shivakumar will continue as Karnataka PCC President. Siddaramaiah is the leader of the Opposition in Legislative Assembly. M B Patil is in charge of the campaign. A 22-member committee has been appointed for election work in Karnataka. Karnataka assembly elections are to be held next year.
