‘Mariam Rasheeda and Fauzia Hasan came to me when case was in court’, says Nambi Narayanan

Mariam Rasheeda and Fauzia Hasan came to me and apologized during the trial of the espionage case, revealed Padma Bhushan Nambi Narayanan. “Initially, I had hatred towards them, but at some point, it turned into sympathy”, he said in an interview with Kaumudy TV.

Nambi Narayanan’s words:

“During the trial of the case, I was taken to the court from Viyyur Jail, once a week. To say the truth, I hated them initially. In my mind, they were the culprits. I never spoke to anyone during the time. I had only said certain things to a policeman, who was with me. Mariam Rasheeda and Fauzia Hasan came to me once. They told me, “Sir, we’re very sorry. We had to say it.” However, I didn’t even cast a look at them due to my hatred.

Later, as days passed, my hatred towards them turned into sympathy. Poor people. What did they do? They also got trapped like me. That was my thought”.
