Actor assault case: Sreelekha’s allegation is wrong, picture of Dileep and Pulsar is original, says photographer

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Photographer Bidil rejected former DGP R Sreelekha’s allegation that the picture of Dileep with Pulsar Suni is fake. He said the photo is original and has not been tampered with. Bidil said this is a selfie taken on the phone at the shooting location and was not edited. He said the photo has been produced in the court.

Meanwhile, Suni's co-prisoner Jinson also came forward denying Sreelekha's allegations that Pulsar Suni's fellow prisoner wrote the letter to Dileep. Sreelekha is saying things on her own due to her admiration for Dileep, said Jinson, also a witness in the case to a private channel. It is clear on the CCTV of the prison that Suni is narrating things and fellow inmate Vipinlal is sitting next to him and writing. It is under the consideration of the court. The letter was written in my presence. I had a job in prison. I saw writing the letter while coming to the cell for tea. First it was written in one paper and then rewrote it to another paper. There is CCTV evidence for all this,’ said Jinson.

Sreelekha in her YouTube channel said things favouring Dileep in the actor assault case. Sreelekha said the conspiracy case arose as there was no evidence against Dileep in the case and accused the police of fabricating false evidence against the actor in the case. Sreelekha also revealed that it was not Suni who wrote the letter which was sent to Dileep from jail. The reason why the witnesses turning hostile was because the police investigation was not conducted properly. The phone was given to Suni by the police. There is no evidence for the meeting of Dileep and Suni. Sreelekha alleged that it was the media that suspected Dileep from the beginning and that there was a lot of pressure from them on the police.

Sreelekha also said Pulsar Suni had threatened some other actresses by recording some clippings. Some actresses had told her about this. She had stated that she had shouted at them for not complaining but the actresses said that they had paid money and settled the incident without disclosing the incident fearing collapse of their career and defamation. They have told me that Pulsar Suni had abducted them after taking them into confidence and blackmailed them by shooting pictures like this on their mobile phones. When asked why a case was not filed, they said that it would affect their career.

Sreelekha's revelation is widely criticized from all sides. Many including prominent people came down heavily on her. Following the disclosure, the prosecution is planning to file contempt of court proceedings. The action will be based on the fact that the accused in the case being investigated is innocent.
