Sabarimala temple to be opened on July 16

PATHANAMTHITTA: The Sabarimala temple will be opened on July 16 at 5 pm for Karkidakam monthly pooja. Melsanthi N Parameswaran Nampoothiri will open the sanctum sanctorum in the presence of thantri Kandararu Mahesh Mohanaru. Regular poojas will be held at 5 am on July 17 which is the first day of Karkidakam. Virtual queue system has been set up. There will also be spot booking facilities at Nilakkal. Booking has started. The temple will remain open till July 21.
