Don't blame us to hide Koolimadu bridge collapse; NH does not have as many potholes as the press meet held by a person at his own home, Union Minister V Muraleedharan on Muhammed Riyas' remarks

vv

NEW DELHI: Union Minister V Muraleedharan responded to State Public Works Minister PA Muhammed Riyas who mocked Union Ministers and himself. 'Don't try to get away by blaming the Centre to cover up your own incompetence. There are not as many potholes on NH as the press meets held by the person at Minister Riyas' house.', mocked Muraleedharan.

The minister asked to check the potholes in PWD roads in Kerala first and then comment on national highways. 'The High Court asked this PWD Minister whether the roads in Kerala are made of glue. The minister helped to get away those invloved in Koolimadu bridge collapse and is now advising the Centre. Union Minister Jaishankar's visit caused tension to the state government. The minister expressed his discomfort regarding my press conferences. There are not as many potholes on the national highway as the press conference held by the person at Minister Riyas's house. The Chief Minister avoided media when allegations against him in gold smuggling case were raised. I don't have that habit. I will continue meeting the media.', said the Union Minister.

Union Minister V Muraleedharan was mocked by Minister Muhammad Riyas in the Legislative Assembly this morning. He said that there are more potholes on the national highways than V Muraleedharan's press meets.
