Kerala state youth festival and school sports meet will be held this academic year

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: After two years of break due to Covid-19 outbreak, the Kerala State Youth festival and School Sports Meet are returning this academic year.

The Sub-district and district level youth festivals will start in October and end in mid-November. The State Youth festival is likely to be held in late November or early December. The School Sports Meet will also be conducted during the same time. A high level meeting regarding this will be held soon.

The 61st School Youth Festival is being held this year and the 64th year for School Sports Meet. Palakkad district were the champions in both the festivals in 2019. The final decision regarding the venue for of the festival for this academic year will be taken at the high level meeting.
