Didn't like what Vignesh Sivan did, Netflix backs out from telecasting star couple's wedding

Popular actor Nayanthara and director Vignesh Sivan tied the knot on June 9 at a resort in Mahabalipuram. Fans celebrated their wedding. OTT platform Netflix had the telecast rights of their wedding and they acquired it for Rs 25 crore.

Now reports suggest that OTT platform Netflix has backed out from streaming the couple's wedding. According to reports, Netflix pulled out of the deal as Vignesh Sivan shared their wedding pictures on social media.

Vignesh Sivan's stance is that Nayanthara's fans will be annoyed by the delay in sharing pictures. So he shared the pictures with the guests days after the wedding. It included pictures with Shah Rukh Khan, Rajinikanth, Suriya and Jyothika. There were reports that director Gautham Vasudev Menon directed the wedding video for Netflix.
