Engine failure: Air Arabia flight makes emergency landing at Nedumbassery airport

KOCHI: An Air Arabia flight from Sharjah made an emergency landing at Nedumbassery ​​after reporting a failure of the hydraulic system during the journey. Air Arabia's G9–426 flight landed at Nedumbassery at 7.29 pm.

There were 222 passengers and seven crew members on the flight. The pilot of the flight sought permission for landing after realizing the failure of the hydraulic system. The flight which was supposed to land at 7.13 landed at 7.29.

The airport authorities said that the flight services are back to normal and all the passengers are safe.
