NEW DELHI: Draupadi Murmu will take oath as the 15th President of India on Monday at 10.14 am in the Central Hall of Parliament. Elaborate arrangements have been made for the oath-taking ceremony. Murmu will reach the North Court of the Rashtrapati Bhavan at 9.22 am and will visit the outgoing President Ram Nath Kovind. Then at 9.49 am both will leave for the Parliament in a special vehicle for the President.
Rajya Sabha Speaker Venkaiah Naidu, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Chief Justice NV Ramana will receive the two at 10.03 am.
At 10.11 am, the home secretary will read out the communication from the election commission, indicating the name of the President-Elect.
At 10.14 am, Droupadi Murmu will be administered oath by the Chief Justice of India.
