Raseeb of Malappuram molested minor girls for five years by threatening to kill them

MALAPPURAM: An accused, who sexually abused minor girls for about five years in Perinthalmanna, has been sentenced with double life imprisonment. The sentence was pronounced by Perinthalmanna Fast Track Special Court. The accused has been identified as Raseeb, a native of Kizhakkekkara.

He had molested nine-year-old and 11-year-old girls for five years by threatening to kill them. The girls were sexually abused till 2016. In addition to imprisonment, the court has also imposed a fine of Rs 1,60,000 in one case and Rs 1,20,000 in another case.
