Rs 45 lakh in a bag lying on road; Traffic police officer hands it over to police

RAIPUR: A traffic police officer sets an example by handing over a bag containing Rs 45 lakh found on the road to the police station. The incident took place in Navraipur. Nilamber Sinha, a traffic constable, found a bag on the roadside containing a bundle of Rs 2000 and Rs 500 notes. It had Rs 45 lakh in total.

Immediately, Nilambar informed his higher officials and reached the Mana police station as per their instructions and handed over the bag. Additional Superintendent of Police Sukhanandan Rathore informed that a special reward will be given to Sinha who handed over the money safely to the police. They are yet to find the owner of the bag.
