Sexual harassment against air hostess, IndiGo flight passenger arrested

AMRITSAR: A passenger who sexually harassed an air hostess during the air travel was arrested immediately after the plane landed. On Saturday, the passenger who travelled in Indigo flight which took off from Lucknow at 6.15 pm to Srinagar misbehaved with the air hostess. Danish, a native of Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh, committed the assault inside the flight. As soon as the plane touched down, he was caught by the security personnel and was handed over to the police.

During the journey, Danish got into an argument with the air hostess and started talking to her in a sexually inappropriate manner. The air hostess informed the pilot and he informed the security officers at the airport.

When the plane landed at Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport in Amritsar, Danish was taken into custody by security officers. Later a complaint was filed with the police. Amritsar airport police registered a case under section 509 against the accused. He was later released on bail. Due to the incident, the flight took off 15 minutes late.
